I HATE CANCER JUST TO LET YOU KNOW

You know, yesterday, October 27th, David and Christopher took our seventeen year-old cat to the vet. He looks like he's hurting when he walks. He's limping on his left back leg. It looks like his left back leg is hurting him. This was the second time David had taken him to the vet for this. They think is bone cancer.

I just want to share with you that I hated cancer before it affected my Buddy Guy, Ace Ventura Cat. It killed my Mother. She had lung cancer. She found out and called us all on March 14, 2007. She died on November 16, 2007. She told my Dad that she wanted to be as old as he was. He turned 74 on July 27. Her birthday is November 15. She was 74 when she died. They were in love.

I hate cancer. I would like to tell you more about how much I hate cancer, but I don't want to get kicked off the internet.

You know I have had a wonderful life. My parents never raised their voices. I grew up in a wonderful middle-class home with my three sisters in a middle-class neighborhood. I went to college at Ohio Wesleyan University. I married a man from my home town. I'd never had to deal with death until late in life. I was twenty-six when my Uncle Jesse died. I was forty-nine when my Mom died. It's the absolute worst feeling in the world.

I hate cancer. I'll be fifty as Buddy passes with bone cancer. I hate cancer so bad. I know others have many more reasons to hate cancer, but for me, taking my Mom and now taking my cat are my reasons for hating cancer.
