Replacing Income So I Can Do What I LOVE To Do

All the talk in the world about doing what you love has one little tag on it: IF YOU CAN MAKE A LIVING AT IT. IF IF IF.........................................

So here I am with 753 days and counting left to get this all figured out.

I love beads. I want to bead, bead, bead the rest of my life. I haven't mastered the art of selling which could probably put the big STOP SIGN on the project, but I do have 753 days left and I am an optimist.

That is the funny part about this whole venture, I am still optimistic that I can earn a living doing what I love. Right now, I believe I can open a little store downtown and sell hand-crafted merchandise along with my own. Of course I fully intend to have a viable internet business going by the time I open the store. I want to devote a space in my store to shipping, specifically for my internet customers. I want to include big ticket items too. My friend knows an artist with a gallery. I want a combination gallery, hand-crafted, internet business in a quaint downtown store.

So I only have to make about $100,000 each year in order to not feel THE PINCH. My more optimistic side believes I can settle for $50,000,,,,,,,,,but I don't want to settle. I did some calculations using just my necklaces. I have to make 166, fifty dollar necklaces an month If I want to make my ideal income. Not just make them, I have to sell them! I have to market them, and I have to store them until they are sold. And I'll have to package or ship them. Oh, and then there is rent and utilities on the quaint downtown store. And there will probably need to be security too.

I wish that money tree would appear again! I wish I could just make and sell my jewelry and not worry about the money. Where is the money tree??? I'll have to stop wishing if I can't find it!

Have a good day!
