I might as well confess, I've been dreaming again. But this time I've put a price on my future. I've determined that I need to make one hundred thousand dollars a year in order to quit my day job. That's not too bad!
So now I have to figure that out in terms of jewelry and the other things.
You know today I got a newsletter and it mentioned the Tuscon Gem Show. Wow, suddenly I have one of those lists of things I HAVE TO DO BEFORE I DIE! Crap! I have never had one of those lists!
So I have to go to the Tuscon Gem Show and I have to make jewelry. And I just noticed that I have about 792 days to get this ball rolling. And now I have decided that I need to make one hundred thousand dollars a year. We are narrowing it down. That's not too bad!
(Goes skipping off!!!!) I wonder what kind of business that is????
Well, I don't know but I have decided that I don't like craft shows although I am willing to tolerate them. My dream job also has me and my husband in a NICE recreational vehicle, touring the country and operating my (our) business as we go down the road. That's it right there. That's all I want. That and a lot of money to spend at the Tuscon Gem Show. For a lot of money to spend at the Tuscon Gem Show, I will make jewelry and sell it on the internet. For a lot of money to spend at the Tuscon Gem Show, I will tolerate a few craft shows. That's it right there. That's all I want. Oh, THAT has been my dream!
I have choices too. I can work to make this happen. I think I can. If I hit a road block of some sort, I should always recognize that I need to either get back on track or choose the other choice. I probably shouldn't look at it this way, but I wonder how many traffic lights I will go through just to get to and from work in the next seven years? Hmmmmm. I have choices.
You know, I think the plans for the next seven hundred ninety-two days are starting to come into focus. WOW!
